My Path

Life changes as we all know. Maybe, our “bowl of life” only holds so much. In order to fill it with more life you have to get rid of some of the “old life”.

What does this mean? Our paths, and I know mine is already in motion, are constantly changing. Sometimes we have to get rid of old habits, friends, situations, work whatever it is, to make room for the new. It’s like cutting cords I guess.

I don’t have a problem with this. In order to follow my path, there is plenty of room for people to walk with me, beside me and in front of me. Some of you will walk behind and perhaps get lost in the woods.

My path is straight and my hand is out for you to grab hold and walk with me.

The woods are also tempting to walk through but don’t get lost.

  1. Your post reminds me of a wonderful poem from Robert Frost that I love:

“The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.”

That poetic fragment has always resonated with me…and so does your post about your path, Donna.

I’ve had my share of chord cutting to do through pout my life and have the same attitude about people joining me or lagging behind. It’s a necessary clearing of energy that does the mind, heart and soul a whole bunch of good sometimes.

Wishing you the greatest of joys and blesSINGs along your path,
    Aurora 🙂

    • One of my favorite poets! Great poem indeed and so fitting for our lives.

This journey is definitely a powerful one and it’s amazing how everything changes almost on a daily basis. Not everyone is meant to be in our lives but the people who are join us for a reason. Our reason are constantly changing therefore so do the people around us.

That was lesson I just learned recently and keep reminding myself that when things in life change. It’s all for a purpose and to enhance our paths.

      Walking the path,
      Donna 🌀
