Message from Uriel: DETOX
DETOX means a “process or period of time in which one abstains from.” Also to “abstain from or rid the body of toxic or unhealthy substances.”
The first thing that comes to mind are all the things that we shouldn’t be eating and that we are putting into our bodies that leads us to unhealthy lifestyles like, processed foods, fatty foods, too much alcohol etc right?
Well what about toxic substances that are in our minds?
- unproductive thoughts
- hurtful thoughts
- negative thoughts
- bad memories
- reflecting on things of the past that are unpleasant
- recalling events that make us sad
- recalling conversations that may have upset someone
- thinking about a time when you did something that was not the right choice
These are thing things that we need to rid not from our body but from our minds. They are unhealthy and non-productive – or are they?
Life is all about balance. In order to have good thoughts and experiences, you have bad or unpleasant ones as well. That’s just how life goes. It’s never one sided -ever.
- We live ALL experiences in life.
- We eat ALL types of foods.
- We listen to ALL genres of music.
- We watch ALL a blend of movies.
- We have a variety of friends.
- We have a blend of clothes styles.
We can’t have it ALL but we can have a lot. We keep or hold on to all the experiences and things we love and that bring us joy and either abstain or get rid of the things we no longer need or want.
That is how we DETOX not only the body but the mind and soul as well.
Uriel is shown as holding a flame. When we need stability in life with the choices we make, his light shows us our path. He provides grounding for us so that we make the best choices for us and for the direction that we are going. All the other “stuff” that is not in our best interest, let go. DETOX because you no longer need it.
